I step into complex technology environments for a defined period of time and take responsibility for getting critical initiatives moving, and keeping them moving. My role is hands-on. I work within the organization, alongside technology teams, business stakeholders, security functions, vendors, and leadership. The objective is simple: Create clarity. Establish momentum. Deliver.
Where I step in
Interim support is particularly valuable when an initiative is business-critical, delivery has become difficult, or experienced leadership capacity is temporarily missing. Typical situations include:
- Complex IT Projects:
Leading initiatives with multiple teams, technologies, vendors, stakeholders, and dependencies. - Delivery Under Pressure:
Creating transparency, resolving impediments, clarifying responsibilities, and restoring momentum when delivery has slowed down or become difficult to manage. - Cross-Functional Delivery:
Connecting technology, business, operations, security, and other stakeholders around a common delivery objective. - Secure Delivery & DevSecOps:
Integrating security requirements into engineering and delivery rather than treating them as a downstream control activity. - AI-Enabled Initiatives:
Helping teams move AI-related initiatives into implementation while accounting for emerging security, data, risk, and governance requirements.
How I work
I do not arrive with a predefined framework. I start by understanding the environment: the objective, the delivery system, the people involved, the constraints, and the points where work is getting stuck. From there, I establish the structures needed to move forward. Depending on the situation, that may include priorities, decision paths, delivery cadences, responsibilities, stakeholder alignment, risk management, or ways of working across teams. Agile, traditional, or hybrid is secondary. What matters is creating a delivery system that works.
Leadership while delivering
Delivery leadership is not only about plans, processes, and reporting. It is also about enabling people to make decisions, take ownership, resolve conflict, and work effectively across boundaries. As an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), I integrate professional coaching skills into the way I lead teams and work with stakeholders. I focus on clear on outcomes. Coaching is my approach.
